Norwegian premiere! Drude’s Christmas oratorio has been newly translated for the occasion, and is being performed in Norway for the first time. Cantor Linde Mothes is in charge, and has brought along soprano Berit Norbakken, baritone Bernt Ola Volungholen, Kantori Tromsø, singers from Meißner Kantorei 1961 in Germany and the Arctic student orchestra. May Line Angell, narrator. Composer is Matthias Drude, text by Dietrich Mendt.

This Christmas oratorio is an exciting and modern experience of the Christmas message, and the music is more modern and different than what we have been used to in churches.
