Saturday 9 April Holmestrand Gospel Choir with soloists makes a swinging gospel night in the Arctic cathedral. The choir promises an evening with lots of energy. The repertoire consists of songs by Per Erik Hallin, Jessy Dixon, Calvin Bridges, Angela Primm, Tore W Aas

Holmestrand Gospel Choir was founded in 2013 and has about 35 members from 20 to 60 years. 24 of the singers will come to Tromsø. The choir belongs to Botne congregation in Holmestrand. Musical director is Dag Eivind Holhjem. He has worked as organist for several years, and has led a number of choirs, from-gospel to Handel’s Messiah.
